Richard Williams

I looked at Richard Williams' book The Animators Survival Kit. I find his lessons really easy to understand and are a great help to me. His book starts from the very basics of animation, the ball bounce, going through timing and spacing, movement, expressions, and also all the basics of lip syncing.

More Character Designs

More character designs for my lip sync. i tried to create characters with certain attitudes. this can then help with the style of lip sync. i think the little girl on page 1 would work well with lip sync as she has quite a large face and the mouth would have some nice movements. i also like the older woman on page 2 as she looks like she could be fears, or strict when she talks.

Initial Character Designs

character designs of animals for my lip sync. I chose to create animal designs as i thought these would work quite well with the voices given.

Second Walk Cycle

I animated another walk cycle with a different style of character. i think this was slightly better than my first as im gradually learning how to create the right movements in the arms and legs.
